Michigan: State Rep Bolger's Co-Sponsorship of State Rep Calley's Equal Parenting Bill

Thank you for your email. I always appreciate hearing from my constituents on important issues such as this.

I agree that in the unfortunate event of a divorce the best interests of the child include having full access to both parents unless one parent has been proven to be unfit. We need to take steps in Michigan to maintain family bonds rather than arbitrarily designating one parent or the other as the primary caretaker. I have co-sponsored this bill and look forward to supporting it when it comes to the floor.
